When used with an automatic opener, Auto-Lock more than doubles the force required at the lock point to lift the door from a closed position, helping protect you and your family.

A B&D garage door equipped with Auto-Lock is a door that locks itself. B&D tests Auto-Lock on all B&D doors to ensure the two work perfectly. When paired together, they provide an unparalleled level of security.

How does it work?

All you need to do is click the button on your remote and close your garage door like normal. Once the door is closed the Auto-Lock engages by sliding a heavy-duty locking bolt straight through the rail of the garage door, locking it securely shut every time.

To open, simply press the open button on your remote and the bolt will automatically slide out of the guard rail and your door will lift as normal. It’s really that simple!
